Christmas in the Time of COVID
Season’s Greetings from all of us at AtlasCare. I hope this letter finds you in good health this Holiday Season – as unusual as it is for many of us. Once again, we find ourselves in a complete lockdown as we battle the spread of the coronavirus.
My heart goes out to those who are unable to enjoy their traditions right now. Our family and business will continue to support charities that are doing essential work to keep our community strong. We feel fortunate to be able to help.
Although a large group celebration is not possible, I am looking forward to some of our family traditions this year more than most: having a pajama day, gathering around a board game, and I have a soft spot for Christmas cookies – or perhaps because of them! I am thankful for my family’s wellbeing, strength, and kindness and am deeply proud of their resiliency and examples of service to others this year.
AtlasCare is an Essential Service
We are about to enter a 28 day period of complete lockdown in Ontario and AtlasCare, as an essential service, will continue to be there for our customers whenever you need us.
AtlasCare has overcome many significant challenges in its nearly 90 years of business, and if I’m being honest, none has been as difficult as this one. We have persevered because of our relationships: with you, the best customers we can hope to have; with our business partners, whose flexibility reinforced the value of always investing in partnership; and – here is where I get a little emotional – with the AtlasCare staff.
We are truly blessed. Our team has been unwavering in their commitment to our customers, and to one another. They diligently follow complicated safety protocols, push through exhaustion and their own fears, and – most of all – demonstrate immense compassion. Their commitment to stand behind our promise – to be always there when you need us – has filled me with pride many, many times.
Thank you for standing with us as we have made every effort to stand with you through this. If we can continue to be of service to you this year, please do not hesitate to contact us at any time. We will be there for you, to help your holiday season be the best it can be.
Finally, I am grateful for one last thing: that this year will soon be behind us!
