AtlasCare Goes Green
AtlasCare is dedicated to improving the environment and reducing
the carbon footprint we leave behind. Little differences
can add up.
We provide a variety of services that will improve your home's
energy efficiency and its indoor air quality, so you can live
in a healthy home with a smaller carbon footprint. This includes,
for example, home energy audits and Canary Air Quality
Assurance Tests.
Whenever we provide service and support for your HVAC system, or
install a new piece of HVAC equipment (such as a new furnace or air conditioner), we do it in the most
energy efficient way possible. That's part of the AtlasCare
Way. We can make your equipment last longer and use
less energy.
We also provide you with a selection of cutting-edge, energy
efficient products like high efficiency furnaces, which can be as
high as 96% efficient (vs. mid efficiency furnaces, which can be as
low as 78% efficient). We go the extra mile, too, to make sure you
get the best possible product for your home, because not every
product is right for every household. Before we install a new
furnace, for example, we would perform heat-loss calculations to
determine which furnace is the right size for your home.
As a company, AtlasCare has a number of initiatives to be
green:
- We use a GPS fleet system to better schedule vehicles to reduce
gas consumption;
- We recycle all metal and cardboard from installations;
- We recover refrigerant from all old air conditioners;
- We use a low sulphur diesel truck to do our duct cleaning;
- We use use recycled paper for the print version of our
quarterly newsletter;
- We recycle all paper in the office.
