Care to Share and Help Us Give $1,000 Each Month to Charity
We think it's important to care for the
communities we serve, and the charities that serve us. Every month,
under the Care to Share program, AtlasCare will donate $1,000 to
one charity located in either Toronto, Mississauga, Oakville, or
any place within the AtlasCare service area - perhaps chosen
by you.
There are many worthwhile causes doing important work. It's
important to us that we include not only the larger, better-known
charities, but also the smaller local causes that can include
fundraising and charity events in Toronto, Mississauga, Oakville,
or anyplace within the AtlasCare service area. By allowing
community members to nominate the charities close to their hearts,
we can help ensure a wide range of needs are met. Of course, we
will also continue to support organizations currently part of our
charitable giving program .
This initiative is intended to diversify how we help the
community.
Whether a small grassroots fundraiser, a charity, local
fundraiser, community event, or the local office of a national
non-profit organization, there is no cause too big or small to be
eligible. Nominees just need to be a registered charity with the
funds being spent to support the community within the AtlasCare
service area. Please note that funds may not be used to support
relief efforts overseas - our intention is to support local initiatives.

and support the many organizations and people who provide essential
services in our community every day.
