Water Heater & Tankless Water Heaters

AtlasCare provides a full line of products and services for your water heating needs. If you're having problems with your current water heater, an AtlasCare Healthy Home Specialist can take a look and give you the best advice as to repair or replacement options.

For example, even though a repair may be possible, a full replacement will sometimes save you money over the long term in energy costs. Other times, you may not even need a repair - only a different setting. That's why expert, trustworthy advice is so valuable. Different people will have different water heating needs. For example, a tankless water heater is an ideal upgrade for many, but it's not for everyone.

About Tankless Water Heaters

One of the least efficient appliances in your home is the water heater. Water heaters are typically only 58%-62% efficient. New Energy Star guidelines will increase these levels to 67% in 2010, but this is still only a 5%-9% improvement.

Tankless water heaters, on the other hand, are usually about 82% efficient.

Sometimes called demand water heaters because they heat water "on demand," tankless water heaters heat the water as it flows through the device, and they do not retain any water. This means that though water can sometimes take a little bit longer to heat up, you don't waste energy keeping a tank of water heated "just in case," and you never run out of hot water!

Compact in size, tankless water heaters all but eliminate standby losses and provide you with an efficient hot water supply and offers the flexibility to install in small spaces. Tankless water heaters also have a product life of 20 years, making them an ideal alternative to your typical water heater that will save you energy, space, and money.
